Look up your 401(k) plan
Search by company name. This lookup covers plans whose sponsor is in NC and SC, for plan years 2024 and 2025, using public filings with the U.S. Department of Labor.
Coverage is selected by the sponsor's location or mailing state. The city and state shown are the filed location when available, so a small number of results can show a location outside NC and SC. Comparisons include only plans whose displayed state is NC or SC.

About this data
Data as of: 2026-10-26 (lookup build date).
Public Form 5500 plan factsThese figures come from Form 5500 filings with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), which DOL publishes for anyone to read.
Medians are calculated separately for each plan year and participant-size band, using 401(k) plans whose displayed state is NC or SC. Each figure requires 10 or more plans reporting a value; blank values are excluded and zero values are included.
401(k) plans are grouped separately into bands of 20 to 49, 50 to 79, 80 to 99, 100 to 199, and 200 to 300 participants with account balances. Each group uses one plan year and includes the plan being viewed.
A median is the middle value when the plans in the group are put in order. It describes the group, and no plan needs to match it.
The DOL-sourced figures are shown as filed. The average balance and the yearly changes are simple arithmetic on those filed figures.
Filing deadlines and extensions vary, so the newest available filing may describe a plan year that ended many months ago. Late filings, amendments and source updates can affect what appears here.
Nothing on this page is investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation about your plan, its providers or its investments. It is general information about a public filing.
